This mango and banana smoothie bowl is the perfect start to a hot summer morning.

I topped my smoothie bowl with granola, vegan greek yoghurt, a sprinkle of chia seeds and some sliced banana.

Even though it looks time consuming, this smoothie bowl is SUPER quick and easy to make.

I used frozen mango chunks and half a ripe banana for my smoothie bowl.

Mango is one of my all time favourite fruits for the summer and the banana adds a creamy texture to the smoothie.

I then added a splash of oat milk to the fruit (you can use any milk you like), to help with the blending process and create a slightly thinner smoothie.

The more milk you add the thinner your smoothie will be, so it's really up to you how much milk you want to add.

Blend until smooth!

Top with some granola, yoghurt, chia seeds and slice the left over banana to finish the smoothie bowl.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 handfuls of frozen mango chunks

  • 1 ripe banana

  • A splash of dairy-free milk (I used oat)

  • Granola

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

  • Vegan yoghurt (I used Alpro greek style plain yoghurt)

METHOD:

1) Add the frozen mango and half of the banana to your blender along with a splash of your chosen dairy-free milk - I like a fairly thick smoothie bowl so I only added a tablespoon or so of milk.

2) Blend your fruit until smooth.

3) Pour your smoothie into a bowl and cut the remainder of your banana into thin slices.

4) Decorate the smoothie bowl with some granola, a teaspoon of chia seeds, the banana slices and a dollop of yoghurt. Enjoy!
